The Klixo Content Management System for Websites Klixo Limited is a small business based in Whakatane that offers a range of services for business web sites. Our core "Klixo" product allows a customer to make changes to their website without having to employ specially trained staff.

The Klixo product is truly innovative because it enables websites to perform better and offers more development and hosting options than our competitors' products.

Klixo's mission is "to become New Zealand's web content management system" and we plan to achieve this goal by continuing to market our products through a growing network of intermediaries. 37% of product sales are currently through resellers and we hope to increase this figure to 100% by end of 2006.

Klixo's technology allows web designers to spend less time on website maintenance and more time on lucrative design work, increasing productivity. Klixo's technology allows Marketing Consultants to sell web marketing solutions with confidence, knowing that they will be supported.

Anecdotal evidence supports our observation that Klixo has had a positive economic impact on the web design market in Whakatane and other centres.

Klixo employs 2 full time and 2 part time staff, as well as providing work for a number of designers whom complete project work as required. Klixo is building a valuable network of businesses: customers, suppliers, web designers, developers and consultants who share technology, services and ideas, increasing the value of the network as a whole.

One demonstrable effect of the value of our network is in our visitor traffic and search rankings. The Klixo network of websites received over 31,000 visits in the month of March 2006 and traffic increased by an average of 6% each month in the first quarter of 2006. Google Page Ranks for Klixo network sites also improved on the whole.

We are excited about the opportunities for a unique product that has been proven in a local market, and our long term strategic plan includes expansion to selected international markets.

Employees

Daniel Larsen - Managing Director

Daniel Larsen Daniel founded Klixo Limited in 2004 after four years of research and development of a content management system based on emerging XML technology. Previous to Klixo Daniel worked as an I.T consultant to firms in New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

Daniel is a Microsoft Certified Professional and is currently studying towards a New Zealand Diploma of Management at Waiariki Polytechnic.

Richard Parfitt - Support Technician

Richard joined Klixo in 2004 as a trainee and is now responsible for the after sales care of Klixo's customers. Richard has excellent people and web development skills and is studying towards a Diploma of Information Communication Technology at Waikato Polytechnic.

Other employees

Klixo employs a webmaster and accounts clerk on a part time casual basis and out sources most web design work to contractors.
