Many people like to take in a movie before or after going out to dinner, so it makes sense to have movie screening times on the dining guide website. In fact, displaying the movie screening times increases the value of the dining guide website to its visitors.
Why would the cinema complex give away that information for free? Because by sharing their listings with other websites they are multiplying the number of people who may see their screening times. The RSS feed can be configured so that when the dining guide website visitor clicks on a screening time for more information, they are directed to the cinema complex's homepage where they can get more information about the movie, book their tickets, see what's coming soon. It's a win-win scenario.
