How I got the
Kronic Urge
- by Daniel Larsen
Kronic Urge Tattoo Studio in Park Lane, Whakatane is a successful small business in its third year with a regular loyal clientelle and a healthy stream of "walk-ins" as well. When owner/operator Neil Overwater decided to get a website, he had only one thing in mind: better marketing of his business. Neil wanted to get his name, brand and professional attitude to tattooing out to a wider audience... who are too scared to walk into the shop.
Have you ever been into a tattoo studio? I hadn't until I met Neil and I was pleased to find it was clean, friendly and comfortable. An ultrasonic cleaner and autoclave sat in plain view as Neil explained the lengths he goes to to ensure that his customers are safe.
So it was great to meet a tattooist and to tackle a tricky subject (from a marketing view), to present the studio in a professional manner, without glossing over the unique aspects that make it such a special tattoo studio, in particular Neil's personality and sense of humor.
I had a great time with Neil (and Donna) learning about tattoos and hygiene and the culture that go with it. And the result I think is a great website that accurately conveys Kronic Urge Tattoo Studio as it is, to an audience that will not fail to get The Kronic Urge.
Congratulations to Neil on an awesome website, and thanks for the fish and chips!
