I had tried many times to achieve a 'web presence' but every effort fell over. The packages I could afford were usually friends offering to help, and as their busy lives took over my website became low priority... I tried setting one up myself, using one of the free packages available, but it was unreliable, ugly, and difficult to update.

Klixo offered me fast solutions to every one of these problems, delivered with enthusiasm and optimism. Their package is affordable, and even better it's a monthly amount rather than a big lump sum. But it's not just the cost that concerned me as a muso / writer. I've found in Klixo a company equally creative, which tolerates (nay, celebrates) my perfectionism, with staff who make me laugh and think, and go way beyond what I hoped for in meeting my (not inconsiderable) website needs.

Early on, Klixo suggested selling my book and CD through the website. I'm thrilled to say this has also been a big success. My record company and publisher work hard to get the products into the stores, but they're smaller companies, and there are sometimes obstacles with the distribution and timing of customer requests. Knowing the book and the album are always available through Klixo, on the website, has been a big weight off my mind. And really convenient for the people who want to support me.

I haven't regretted the website decision for a moment. In fact, since my launch, I've been contacted by media on average about twice a week. They request bio's, photo's, background etc. Every time I feel proud and relieved to say 'it's all on the website...'

Perhaps most importantly in all this, is the fact that having a website I'm proud and in control of has been an enormous boost for my professional and personal self-confidence as an artist. Klixo have always taken me and my work seriously. treating me and my creative endeavours with just the right combination of  respect and tenderness.  Daniel and Richard are pro-active in suggesting improvements, taking my garbled questions and turning them into (cyber)reality almost before I've asked...!
